**These terms also applies to Stuffed Adult Plush. Any mentions of Made To Were can be interchanged with Stuffed / Adult Plush as Made To Were is the Parent Company. **

 By purchasing, you, the customer, are acknowledging that you have read, understood, and agreed to all of the information, terms, and conditions outlined below, and any information presented in our FAQ.

This website is owned and operated by Made to Were. The company can be marketed, defined, listed, or labeled as any of the following: “Made to Were”, “MTW”, our sub company "Stuffed / Adult Plush", the company’s logo(s), the term “weres”, the mascot “Sterling”, the alias “Anna”, and any other authorized representation. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Made to Were. Made to Were offers this website, including all information, tools and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before accessing or using the platforms, venues, and settings in which we can be found, including this website. By accessing or using any part of the site (or any other platform, venue, or setting which we use), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or use any services. If these Terms of Service are considered an offer, acceptance is expressly limited to these Terms of Service.

By visiting our site and/or purchasing from us from any platform, venue, or setting you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions(“Terms of Service”, “Terms”),including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink. These Terms of Service apply to all users of the site, marketplace facilitators, and any other platform or setting in which we may operate. These Terms of Service apply to all users including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/or contributors of content.

Any new features or tools which are added to the current store shall also be subject to the Terms of Service. You can review the most current version of the Terms of Service at any time on this page. We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and/or changes to our website at any time. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

Made To Were (MTW) contains adult content intended for individuals 18 years of age or older and of legal age to view sexually explicit material as determined by the local and national laws of the region in which they reside. If you are not yet 18, if adult/adult fantasy material offends you, or if you are accessing this site (or any other platform, venue, or setting which we use) from a country or area where adult material is specifically prohibited by law, please do not access this site. In order for you to use this site and purchase from us, you must read and agree to the following items:

~MADE TO WERE DISCLAIMER

By purchasing you confirm you are an adult that is 18 years of age or older and have agreed to our terms.

All of our silicone products are made with skin safe, 100% platinum cure silicone per our manufacture Smooth-On, with silicone pigments and/or cosmetic grade mica pigments for coloration. We also use cosmetic grade mica shimmer in some of our products. Any mica powders used in our products is ethically sourced per the manufacture(s) . All products are heavily researched before using in our products to be sure it is safe for you! All silicone is degassed, no exception, in our process. Customer safety is our priority and if we wouldn't use it, or don't feel it would be safe to use, we don't sell it.

Silicone products are made first by 3D modeling, then 3D printing, and going through sanding and smoothing techniques prior to making it to a silicone mold. None of our products are a life cast, nor ever will be, and are all artistically rendered. Some models may be purchased by a 3D artist, made completely by us, or edited with permission.

All of our silicone products are finished by hand as well as poured by hand and as a result, they can have small surface imperfections, print texture, divots, small pigment freckles/specks under the surface, and uneven trimming. We consider these to be normal imperfections. These imperfections are purely cosmetic and will not affect the use or safety of the toys. If you are wanting perfectly smooth surfaces, our toys may not be for you, though we try our hardest to get them as smooth as we can. Any problems beyond the normal imperfections will be labeled as ‘Oddball’ or ‘Flop’  and described in the listing information.

All mini-products, add-ons, or other silicone products that are not considered to be an adult novelty are ‘Oddballs’.

*For reference for our shop, an 'Oddball' is a minor flaw that could be from a cosmetic/ color issue we did not like, any small surface imperfection that we feel is beyond the norm that does not impact the use of the product. Usually, our oddballs do not have major cleaning issues. We discount oddballs anywhere from 5% up to 15% off.

A 'Flop' would be a product with defects such as medium to large surface imperfections that we believe would require more than normal care and cleaning. These could be 15%-40% off.

All discounts are at our discretion and on an individual product basis. *

At this time, the silicone firmness we mainly sell our models in is soft (shore hardness 00-30) and medium (shore hardness 00-50). We rarely, but on occasion sell firm (10A), but it can cause issues demolding and do not use often in our models. (This is mainly used on our suction cups.) Soft (00-30) can be slightly tacky and has a similar softness of a gel shoe insert or body tissue. It is very squishy and sometimes bigger toys can have issues standing and sway more. Medium (00-50) is still squishy but can feel almost like a rubber eraser or an unflexed muscle. Firm (10A), feels like a flexed, tight muscle and does not have a lot of squish to it. With that being all said, since this is a handmade craft, there can be some variations to the firmness. This can can be because the size of the toy, (smaller toys will feel generally softer, and the bigger you go, the less soft it feels), temperature, humidity, pigments used (the more pigments/glows, the firmer) and even the silicone differences from the manufacturer. All our toys will be labeled to the hardness they were poured in! *We now also pour in 00-20 (Which we call super soft!) This silicone is super squishy and tacky. Mainly this will be for squishes, packers, penetrables, and models that won’t fall completely over.

We also rarely use a newer silicone product called Near Clear!*

*Near Clear is a new product by Smooth-On, it’s certified skin safe/platinum cure just like the other silicone we use currently! (We will label products made with Near Clear. These come in 00-31 and 00-45 shore hardness. Please note we have found 00-45 to be more firm than 00-50 and label it as Medium Firm). The base price is slightly more than its counterparts due to the higher price of this silicone and the time it takes to make! Here are some special notations regarding NC!

NC is extra translucent and is more noticeable in models with glossy finishing. UV usually is highly vivid! That being said, this silicone is a bit more finicky to care for and to make. Leaving indents, seeing normal mold imperfections, and discoloration are easier with this product. Multiple bubbles are common to be found on the flat bases of NC and won’t be considered a flop. This is normal due to the nature of this silicone.

Some other toy makers have mentioned noticing yellow discoloration or cloudiness after boiling excessively. Sometimes, silicone may remain cloudy for hours to a few days before returning to normal after boiling if not permanently discolored. Also, oil-based lube may cause discoloration as well. If unsure to risk discoloring due to boiling, we can advise using silicone safe toy cleaner, soap and water, or a 10% bleach to water solution to thoroughly clean toys. (Do NOT boil bleach!)

On a final note, as with our other silicone, do NOT use silicone-based lube.

Our products are made in a smoke-free home. We also have cats that are NOT allowed in the studio, but there is a possibility of a stray cat hair to be on the shipping package no matter if they are not around the product whatsoever. If you have strong allergy concerns in this regard, please do not buy from this store! With that in mind, because of static, lint particles, debris, etc. may be also found on the shipping package or product though they are washed before sending your way. This is why we recommend and please ask of you to still wash your toy before you play with it!

All of our silicone products for adult use are washed with gentle soap before putting in our heat sealed bags. There may be a faint smell that is on your product, or water marks from the wash; this is from soap that should go away with a good warm wash and air dry! 

We should mention that the soap we use is scentless and dye free, but our home has some fragrance plugins. Though these nor any other scent producing items are in the studio, we understand smell can travel whether it be through air or the hand soap on our hands. We have noticed from time to time that the plastic packaging from our manufacturer can have a slight smell as well. Though we try to keep our products and studio as scentless as we can for those sensitive, we cannot promise a scent to not be present. Again, typically this airs out over time and a good wash! If in the unusual happenstance it doesn't, we can suggest boiling your toy as usual per the care guide, a 10% bleach to water soak (DO NOT BOIL BLEACH), or a baking soda soak.

Again, even though we try our best, we still advise to wash the product before any sort of use. Our studio is not a sterile environment though we keep as sanitary as possible!

Our Stuffed plush products are made with synthetic plush minky and faux fur. Products are all handmade by us and not outsourced.

Please be aware though they aren't around silicone, we do have cats that are around fabric and sewing. 

Currently all Stuffed Adult Plush products are spot clean only. 

‍Important: All products are intended and sold as personal novelty use only. Made To Were is NOT liable in any way, shape, or form for how you choose to use our products, or for any discomfort or injury that occurs through use. We also cannot advise how to use our products; please use good judgment!

~ORDERING/PURCHASING

By ordering or purchasing from our site, in person, private sell, or on Etsy, you are agreeing with our terms to hold Made To Were, its officers and employees, free from and against any claims, liability, losses, costs, damages, or expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising from my use of or participation in this service, use of product, or the information contained therein as stated above. You also are confirming you are 18 years of ago or older when you make a purchase. 

Please bare in mind that the ONLY place on the internet we are selling currently is our website you're on now!

We are not in any contract with any other business/entity. The only other business we 'own' that is still us is 'Stuffed Adult Plush.' Replication and redistribution of models without our explicit permission will be pursued with legal action.

MTW is fine with private trades and or reselling to another private party. We do not allow this commercially and or to be shipped to countries we do not service. (Please see the shipping section for more details on those countries).

MTW, at this time, does not have an ambassador program for content creators nor are we trading free products for reviews. This may be looked further into in the future.

Etsy and or Shopify's Fraud Protection also may cancel your order if payment was declined or any of their own reasons. (Sometimes it will cancel if it knows your IP address is from a country we do not sell to.) Usually, they will send you, the customer, an email as to why they canceled an order. Made To Were is not responsible for ANY automatic cancelations Etsy or Shopify makes! We assume it's for a good reason, but bare in mind when Etsy actually cancels your order, it will be put back up for sale automatically by Etsy and there is NO HOLDING.

Limits:
At this time, we have a limit on orders when we have a new inventory drop (Unless stated otherwise). This limit is in effect for 24 hours from our 'drop' and is as follows:

Address changes: 

We’d be happy to update your address so long as it’s within 12 hours of your original order. Just fill out the 'contact us' form or email us at orders@madetowere.com.

We, however, cannot update country it’s being shipped to if that was incorrect.

Sales:

Time-to-time we have website sales ranging from a % off and other sorts of deals. The deals come sporadically, and sometimes are only email subscriber coupons. If you place an order before a sale, we cannot hold an item until a sale nor will we retroactively discount your product that was purchased before or after the time of a sale. We only honor discounts for items purchased during the time frame of said sale, no exceptions.

~SHIPPING

We do confidential and discreet “Plain Brown Box” Shipping. Sometimes, it may be a standard USPS Priority box or bubble mailer (if small squish/egg/small merch). Either way, there is no indication on what's inside. Return label will state “MTW” as the sender and our PO BOX.

We now ship world wide with a few exceptions!* PLEASE BE ADVISED IF YOU ARE ORDERING INTERNATIONALLY, YOU ARE ORDERING AT YOUR OWN RISK. We are not to be responsible for custom/VAT fees nor responsible for lost packages.

The customs label will read "Silicone Sculpture" , "Decorative Rubber", or "Other Articles other than Rubber" as description. Please be aware that shipping internationally may take weeks to a month+ to arrive. Sometimes, the tracking may not even be updated until it reached the destination country. Your package may also be held up in customs for some time. We ask to have a bit a patience when ordering from afar!

We also are not responsible for shipping issues that happen due to customer error, such as an incorrect address provided, nor are we responsible for lost packages, errors on the USPS' part. Once it’s shipped, it is unfortunately out of our control. Please make sure your name and address is correct before placing your order.

We will also try our hardest to have products shipped within 2-4 business days after purchase!  Typically we ship on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Please check out https://www.usps.com/help/claims.htm if you feel like there's an issue with delivery. It will guide you through how to file a claim and the time frames.We as sellers see the same tracking info as you do! 

Please understand due to the stress of the postal service (especially around holidays), we cannot guarantee when an item will arrive and may be longer than expected.

~CANCELLATIONS/REFUNDS/ RETURNS

We now accept cancellations ON IN STOCK ITEMS ONLY! We will gladly cancel your order within 1 hour of ordering ONLY. (UNLESS STATED OTHERWISE. WE DO NOT ALLOW CANCELLATIONS IN NOVEMBER/SALES/ETC.) Please be for certain you are reading thoroughly, and clicking on what you want to order! Just message us if you would like to cancel and that locks you in! We may not get back to your message ASAP, but so long as you messaged us within that hour (thanks timestamps!), you are fine and consider it done!  UPDATE AS OF 1/25/22: We now charge a 10% restocking/processing fee when canceling orders. (Meaning we'll refund all but 10% of your order total.) This is due to a non-refundable processing fee we as the sellers are charged when you pay now on the website vs Etsy prior would refund the seller the fee.

If we suspect you are abusing our cancel policy due to "holding" an item, we have right to decline future orders and block your account from the shop.

**WE WILL NOT CANCEL OR MODIFY ANY SORT OF CUSTOM ORDERS. PLEASE TAKE YOUR TIME ORDERING THESE TYPE OF ITEMS.**

THERE IS TO BE NO RETURNS/REFUNDS ON GOODS SOLD AT IN PERSON EVENTS. 

Refunds (with online orders) may be possible on a case-by-case basis for ONLY production issues that was undocumented at the time of the sale that is beyond a normal imperfection due to the handmade quality. Please familiar yourself with what these normal imperfections and so forth listed above under the MADE TO WERE DISCLAIMER. Again, this is the ONLY reason we would issue a refund.

‍We will not refund items sold with an ‘Oddball’ or ‘Flop’ reason, as the flaws have been noted in the listing and sold AS IS.

Please inspect your toy thoroughly before opening the bag. ONCE THE BAG HAS BEEN OPENED, WE WILL NOT ISSUE A REFUND. If there is an issue with your item, and it’s still in the bag, please take photos and contact us as soon as possible at orders@madetowere.com.

Any products by Stuffed Adult Plush are sold as-is and sales are final.

Any add-on item, or any product created by us that is not considered to be an adult novelty (i.e.dickles, woofs, squishies,etc.), is NOT considered for a refund. Also any item purchased by us with the intent of resale (i.e vibrators we may sell from a 3rd party company etc.) is not considered for a refund. Any merchandise created by us or for us such as embroidered items, patches, pins, stickers, bags, plushies, etc. are not considered for a refund. These are all sold as-is and sales are final.

Due to the nature of the products, we do NOT accept returns except in serious cases authorized by us. In the rare case we receive a returned product, we do NOT put for sell again and is inspected & disposed of. If in the happenstance we decline a return but a rare full refund is warranted, we will ask you to destroy the product in a timely manner and after proof is received, a refund is distributed. 

If, for any reason, you ship the product back to our PO Box without our authorization, there will be NO REFUND ISSUED even if you advise the box was never opened. Again, we are serious about our no refund policy as we stand behind the safety of our products unless there is a unnatural flaw.

All refunds are at our own discretion; beyond 1 week after confirmed delivery we typically do not consider refunds.


We reserve the legal right to cancel/refund orders/block or refuse service to any individual at any time for any reason. Breaking TOS, such as being underage, will result is an automatic ban and will NOT be removed from our ban list even after becoming a legal adult. Chargebacks result in a permanent ban as well as shipping to countries we do not service. 

Asking for special requests beyond a semi-custom listing may result to your order being canceled. Pushing these boundaries may result in a ban. Please know that the limitations we set on these listings are FINAL and picked at the time of ordering a custom through the listing for such. We do this to keep these types of orders streamlined, fair to everyone, and shipped as soon as possible.

We do not honor special requests of colors on 'mystery' or 'suprise' specific products.  

Any person(s) banned is NOT shared with others/other businesses and is a private matter only to this store. We do not share private information period.

While banning is something we never actively want to do, we also do not stand for harassment or bigotry of any kind. This goes for harassment towards us or harassment we may observe towards others.
